As the pandemic has actually forced a lot of pet groomers and hairdressers to close up shop for a while, pet owners resort to DIY trims. And this brings some amusing results. Still, you may chance upon a shop that remains open. But put don’t put too much trust in it. Not all of the groomers that have opened up shop are as skilled as you’ve thought. They may even send your pet home looking funny and questionable. One dog owner shares on TikTok how her dog has ended up looking like a raw chicken after being groomed — and the pup’s appearance is downright hilarious. Read on for how a fur parent is shocked when her dog looks like a raw chicken.
Totally shaved off!
A TikTok user called @Tigerlil_y shares with her followers her dog’s newest look after being picked up from the grooming shop. The dog’s BEFORE photo shows the pup still donning his thick fur and looking cute. But his AFTER photo shows him looking like a raw chicken because he is almost bald.
But don’t just put all your blame on the groomer. It turns out that @Tigerlil_y’s dad is at fault, too. He has actually told the groomer to shave the pup’s fur as much as they could. And the groomer is just being obedient.
People are going crazy for the pup’s new look
The before-and-after images of the dog have gone viral on TikTok. And these have received several funny comments from the platform’s users.
A lot of them believe that it is a different dog. One even comments that the groomer has given back the wrong dog. Another commenter says that the dog looks like a Chihuahua. But someone says that the dog seems happy because he’s finally living his truth, evidently referencing the poor pooch’s bald and naked body.
Another user brings back the conversation to the dad by asking if he is still allowed at home after the grooming fiasco. @Tigerlil_y responds that her mom wasn’t around at the time, so her dad was still technically allowed at the house.
