Puppies looking for friends to play with will always be a constant. They’re the ultimate friend makers, so it’s not surprising to see them do silly things for the sake of it. This Dachshund saw a new friend on this day. This one was difficult to communicate with, but it looked like it also loved to play.
Even if they couldn’t communicate, this pet and its new friend didn’t have a hard time playing. This puppy must have wondered how the other dog was able to copy its movements.
When this Dachshund crouched low, the other puppy also did the same. We think that’s what got this pet all amazed about its new friend.
Dogs understand skills, and clearly, this newcomer’s got tons of them. When this puppy stood up, the other one also did.
Somebody please tell the little one that’s a mirror and what it’s seeing is a reflection of itself. We’d love to try, but we doubt that this puppy would understand exactly what a mirror is.
In any case, this furball will get used to it. It may not fully understand but it will be able to accept it over time.
Soon, playing with a mirror will become a regular thing for this puppy, and that’s when the acceptance would happen.
What’s notable is, this puppy clearly still had fun despite its lack of understanding about how mirrors work in general.
It’s incredible how dogs accept things as they come. Perhaps this is the secret to a happier and more robust living. We humans would do well to practice the same.
Life becomes so much easier when we actually let go of things we couldn’t control and just enjoy the things that we can. May you never tire of seeking what’s good and what’s fun in life. Cheers, doggo!
